Project Deployment Staff


Essential to ESP’s managed services portfolio is our highly skilled and proficient Project Deployment Team for all installations, moves, additions, changes and disposals.

Taking ESP’s in-depth knowledge and understanding of our industry, teams are headed by more senior techs to ensure schedules are adhered to in or out of normal working hours and to offer complete confidence to our customers that the project will be completed within the expected parameters, whether that be time, technology or cost.

We offer a complete implementation life-cycle support, starting with the ability to receive large quantities of equipment in our extensive warehouse facilities so it can be held in pre-staging areas.

Depending on the requirements of the project, a staging plan will determine the quantities of equipment to the prepared each day, either in our Desktop Roll-out and Network Configuration Lab or on customer site. The logistics process will be planned on a just-in-time basis so that the equipment will arrive to site only when it is needed irrespective of location or numbers of locations, in a ready-to-install state, pre-imaged and asset-tagged as required.

The size and technical expertise of the team varies according to the scope and requirement of the project. At completion a formal handover of each item is completed, which includes testing, a functional overview and general hints and tips as necessary. Pre-agreed documentation is completed at each stage, recording the details of the equipment installed, hand-over sign-off and if disposal is required, the details of the removed equipment.

All packaging and deinstalled equipment is removed from site as per the requirements of the project and disposed of according to in-country legislation, for instance WEEE in Europe.
