Common Use Passenger Processing Systems - CUPPS

CUPPS is an overhaul of the former CUTE standard and is the generic term applied to standardised system platforms for agent-facing common-use implementations at airports. SITA’s AirportConnect, ARINC’s iMUSE and Ultra Electronic’s UltraCUSE are common examples.

ESP provides rapid response break / fix IT services, working with airlines, airport authorities, common user environment providers, baggage reconciliation providers, travel companies and retail systems providers.

Airports are intricate sites when rapid response break / fix services are considered. Indeed a successfully implemented support model from one airport will not necessarily work well for another. ESP is well proven in producing and implementing support solutions across a diverse selection of airport locations which consider not only the support levels required, but the operational hours of the site, the geography, the peaks and troughs of the loading patterns and statutory requirements such as health and safety and security.

What differentiates ESP from our competitors is our unswerving drive to reduce the number of in-service failures.  With a carefully managed program of asset control, priority management and spares chain logistics the numbers of in-service failures can be dramatically reduced.  The net result is not just a reduction in the numbers of service calls, but also the customer’s confidence in the system is enhanced, the lifetime of the equipment extended and initial capital outlay is protected.
