HR Manager – Reading

ESP Global Services are currently recruiting an HR Manager to join our Reading headquarters. We are a global managed service provider for IT support and infrastructure solutions and support clients worldwide, 24/7.   ESP is growing and we need an experienced HR Manager to join our existing HR Team who can lead and manage the implementation of key HR projects and initiatives as well as providing support and guidance to line managers.

We are looking for someone who has strong generalist and international HR experience, together with some learning and development exposure, and is passionate about delivering exceptional service to key stakeholders.

A snapshot of what you will be doing:

  • Providing high-level HR advice, support and guidance to managers on complex people-related issues across the globe and help build high performing teams focused on achieving their goals in support of the overall business strategy
  • Developing HR policies, procedures and practices in support of ESP’s business strategy which comply with relevant employment legislation in each country
  • Managing and overseeing complex international employee relations cases through to successful conclusion
  • Supporting and challenging senior managers on proposed organisational changes and ensure the planning, consultation and execution of structural changes is managed through to a successful conclusion
  • Managing and overseeing the design and implementation of effective training programmes across the organisation which ensure that our people have the skills, knowledge and capabilities to be effective in their roles
  • Working with the HR Director, developing and managing ESP’s approach to employee engagement, and proposing and implementing targeted actions based on survey results
  • Leading the successful completion of any TUPE / ARD transfers, ensuring that all affected employees are kept informed throughout the process and all legal obligations are fully discharged
  • Supporting the HR Director in the successful delivery and rollout of any HR initiatives / projects

What are we looking for?

  • 7+ years’ experience in generalist HR in an international company
  • Strong employee relations experience (including TUPE)
  • Preferably some experience / exposure to learning and development
  • Excellent business acumen with a high level of integrity and professionalism
  • Proven experience of managing multiple stakeholders at all levels of an organisation
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, with exceptional influencing skills
  • Strong MS Office skills
  • Creative thinking and ability to think outside the box

This role is working Monday – Friday 9-5:30pm
