Marketing and Communications Manager- Reading

An exciting career opportunity has been created at ESP Global Services, we are now recruiting a Marketing and Communications Manager to join our Head Office in Reading. We are looking for an individual who is an established Marketing Manager with a focus on Internal and B2B marketing & communications, and ideally someone who has worked within IT Services or the IT industry. This role offers an individual the opportunity to implement and develop this business function from scratch and make their mark on our fast-growing privately-owned global business.

What does the role of Marketing and Communications Manager involve?

As the standalone Marketing and Communications Manager you will report into the Sales Director to develop, implement and manage the company’s overall marketing and communications strategy to support business development, and customer and employee engagement.

  • Develop and deliver a marketing and external communications strategy which supports the overall business strategy.

  • Manage and deliver all marketing activities including day-to-day content creation for email and direct mail, social media, website, press releases, online marketing, PR and events / exhibitions.

  • Deliver strong customer focused / targeted campaigns to generate leads and build awareness of our products and services.
  • Manage and deliver all marketing activities.

  • Manage the marketing and communications budget ensuring that all external marketing suppliers and partners deliver value for money.

  • Own, evolve and champion ESP’s branding

  • Develop a suite of sales collateral documentation that can be used by the sales team to support business development.

  • Assist in the production of formal sales documentation, including customer presentations and tender documents, reviewing all content to ensure that a consistent and professional image is portrayed.

  • Implement effective customer and market research and competitor activity analysis to identify new business

development opportunities.

  • Develop and leverage the capabilities of CRM to continually promote ESP’s existing and evolving services to both existing customers and prospective leads.

  • Develop and deliver an internal communications strategy which maximises employee engagement and ensures effective communication to the ESP workforce, through a variety of channels including intranet, team briefings and news articles to ensure that all staff receive effective, engaging and relevant updates and news in a timely manner.

  • Help build and promote a positive culture where two-way communication is seen as fundamental and integral to the success of the organisation and its people.

What Competencies/ previous experience do you need to have to be considered?

  • At least 5 years’ experience in marketing and communications
  • Either educated to degree level in English / Media Studies / Marketing & Communications Studies or with significant, relevant experience in role
  • Creative thinker with proven campaign experience
  • Excellent knowledge of CRM tool
  • Intermediate MS Office skills, advanced PowerPoint and Photoshop skills ideal.
  • Ability to write compelling and engaging copy
  • Strong commercial acumen

Working hours: Monday to Friday 0900- 1730
