Projects Coordinator, Reading – 3-Month Contract

ESP Global Services are currently recruiting a Projects Coordinator to be based from our Central Reading Head office. You will be a key member of the projects team delivering both large and/ or multiple small projects. You’ll be expected to follow an approved project management methodology in the delivery of all projects. You will need to build relationships both internally and externally. This role is on an initial 3 month contract with the potential for extension.

What does the role of Projects Coordinator involve?

  • Produce, maintain and monitor project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets and expenditures.
  • Organise, attend and participate in stakeholder meetings.
  • Document and manage actions and decisions to completion
  • Ensure project deadlines are met within budget and associated quality levels.
  • Manage project changes and evaluate those against the associate baseline to determine the impact of the change and associated activities Ensure projects adhere to the ESP methodology
  • Assess project risks and issues and ensure follow-up actions to mitigate these
  • Ensure stakeholder expectations are managed towards the best solution.
  • Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members.
  • Perform Project closure and lessons learnt

What Competencies/ previous experience do you need to have to be considered for the role of Project Coordinator?

  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated individual who is keen to develop their career in Project Management.
  • A team player and be willing to contribute internally and externally to benefit both ESP and the Customer
  • Takes ownership
  • Flexible in the approach to work and willing to take on new challenges at short notice
  • Good understanding of Project Management methodologies and a proven track record of successful delivery.

  • PM qualification e.g. PRINCE2, APAM, PMI etc is desirable
  • Good understanding of MS Office tool, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • A drive for self-development
  • Time Management skills

  • Excellent English, verbal and written
  • Leadership experience
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills
  • Influencing and negotiation skills
  • Must be able to drive
  • Willing to work on customer site if required

Hours: Monday – Friday 9am – 5:30pm
