ESP has seen Latin America (LATAM) as an important market for a number of years. We are delighted to be the IT support provider of choice for LATAM companies like Orange Business Services (OBS), for whom we deliver our managed workforce and field services.
In 2015, as the separation of OBS from SITA was drawing to a close, ESP was selected to provide support solutions for OBS data centres in Argentina. The workforce was made up of our local Argentina ESP engineers, account managers and service delivery staff.
Our managed workforce solutions involve implementing a single on-demand workforce that can fill any gaps in staffing and provide the skills our customer’s need at a particular time. By doing this, their resource planning is made simpler and their management capabilities are significantly boosted. As well as supplying them with a high-performance workforce, we support their management processes through remote monitoring, attendance tracking and other tools.
OBS has a number of data centres in LATAM. Depending on the size and scale of the services that a particular data centre requires, ESP supports the OBS locations through a mix of 24/7 on-site engineers and on-demand field services, coordinated by our Colombia service desk.
OBS has benefitted from our programme of localisation and has now added its sites in Bolivia and Colombia to the scope, including the Bogota data centre – one of the largest in LATAM!
