About the job:
The Senior Airport Engineer will be involved in solutioning complex client’s activities and be immersed in the IT environment. They will be seen as a Subject Matter Expert in the handling of escalation, providing support and direction to the Airport Engineers where needed.  They will be highly experienced providing and delivering unrivalled service to our client.

A key element of this role is that the Senior Airport Engineer will be engaged in a significant amount of project work as and when required to aid the successful roll out of new IT initiatives for successful operations.  This will require engagement with key stakeholders at a senior level. 

The Senior Airport Engineer will require a thorough understanding of the client’s tools / systems which include but are not limited to airside applications, navigation aids, associated airport infrastructures, airport communication systems, airport security systems, supporting networks, passenger processing, environmental compliance, airport safety, automatic baggage systems, reconfiguration of services and facilities needed during the day-to-day operations of the airport. They will collaborate with the various client’s IT resolver Teams and with the ESP management team. 

The Senior Airport Engineer will cover for the AITS Shift Team Lead when required.
